I'd suggest that safeway over the Fry's,

Unfortunately there's not a whole lot near the con itself. Although I'm not generally in that area.

Hey, At this point anything helps. As of right now we are navigating on what we can find on google maps, yellowbook and any other local travel reviews we can find.

Enjorous:
BJ's is a good place. Good food, good beer. There are two, and I honestly don't which is closer, one's on Oracle (a road to be avoided if possible) and another on Broadway. I don't mind Broadway, it's good for a major road.

I honestly wish I knew the area around the con better but I never go over there.

In what context should it be avoidied?
Far too many potholes for non 4x4's?
Or is it a safety in numbers if your low on ammo kind of place?

It's an "Oh my god will we ever get through this light. Then if we somehow manage to get through this light how on Earth will we ever get through the next one...and the next one and the next -- You know what? I'm just gonna kill myself now" type road.
