Here are my suggestions:

I would like to suggest some general rules of the forum should be implemented.

Also for those having problems finding their way around and 'how to do things' maybe some general info sticky topic.

You can also find some basic info in the 'HELP' button on the navigation bar across the top of the board :)

I hear you; as with things in the past, I prefer to evolve the guidelines out of the community's needs.  I want to watch how it grows organically before I start establishing laws.

I misread that as SMoF. (Secret Masters of Fandom....that's not a band name.) I was wondering who I'd find in here....

yeah 'laws' sound a bit rigid, guidelines sounds better, or even if you posted the mailing list guidelines somewhere for people joining?
