ok so for those of you that have it out of curiosity is the Fate system explained or do you have to download fate as well (yes i know its free)

yeah i have a job and go to college. Hence why I'm broke. My game group are tightwads I seriously have to supply the dice and another friend brings a suitcase full of mini's

You only really need the first book, that cuts down the price to $50. That should be something you can swing even as a college student.
