DFRPG Fate Dice?

Fred, can you say what dice mechanic will be used for the RPG?
Fate Dice like in SOTC ( +/ /- ) or something else?

It may seem a silly question, but with Starblazers Adventures using d6-d6, I just wanted to be sure.

Honestly, we're probably going to be agnostic on dice mechanic. Fudge dice are our default, but you could use Starblazer dice instead and it won't break anything. :)

But no, I wanted fate dice to be used! I just ordered $20 of Fate dice just for the DFRPG!
A bit premature maybe, but like Harry has found out over the books, it pays to be prepared!

When I read the title of the thread, I thought the OP was suggesting special FATE dice to go with DFRPG. (Maybe a special Dresden arcane symbol on them?)

I'd buy that!

Custom dice -- which these would be, since each face is not a '1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6' -- that cover all faces are *pricey*. We don't have plans to do custom dice right out the gate.
