There were almost 4200 new member registrations in Jan 09. I was thinking I might go through and look at those specifically. Not all of them have websites, but there are a fair amount that have no info and are from various international locations. If you bring up the member profile the info line sometimes has things like "cheap drugs" and other incriminating words. It seems to me that if it is a legit registration then there will be a clue.

I'm not sure if there is a way to check the registration email.... only the mods can do that....

But I'll drag the net and see what I can find.

I noticed that many of the link had automatic redirects.  Some said that they linked to other parts of the board, but in fact went to some heavy duty porn sites.

Others went to phishing spots. 

It is easier to zip through when there aren't as many and when you know what you are looking for.  What takes time is the scanning a site that may or may not be questionable.
