How many different groups are aware of the existence of magic in the Dresdenverse?   We know that the Vatican is aware, but what about other religions?   Are there Jewish, Hindu, etc groups in each religion that act as special task forces?   Will there be rules in the game for designing such groups?
 
And what about governments?   Besides some rogue FBI agents, I can't remember any federal Black Cat Squads.    And how widespread is the Mob's knowledge of magic?

There's no "canon" answer to this one. So let's treat this as speculative: How would YOU answer the question for YOUR game?  (Weigh in, people!)

For me it would be government, only a very very very small portion of the government (For all countries). Some goes along with The Church. Then maybe same small resistances groups.

In my game most religions would know something is going on but each of them would put everything into there own frame of reference. So for example, if an Imam met a fairy he might mistake it for a djinn. Or if a priest met a outsider, he might mistake it form a demon from hell. So in a sense everyone would be partially right, they just wouldn't have the entire picture.

And of course each religion would have their own unique magical occurrences. Some Jews might be able to predict the future using numerology. While some people in Hinduism might be avatar's of various gods.* This would be in addition to "normal" faith magic.

Now as for task forces I haven't decided yet, but there would probably be at least a few heroes out there from every faith. Perhaps a lone Aztec priest carving out the hearts of monster in a vain attempt to hold back the end of the age, or a over worked Voodoo Priest who works with the Loa to hunt down those things that threaten his congregation.

As for other organizations I'm undecided right now.

It seems to make sense that other religions would have champions. The important factor seems to be faith, and folks have faith in all sorts of things. It doesn't seem a stretch to have Muslim and Jewish champions.

Likewise, it seems likely that some governments have noticed something. Coincidence only covers so much, after all.
