I asked "What does the shirt say"

He said "The shirt says 'if you can read this, I found your ring'".  (I believe this is in mock-elvish to look like the text on the One Ring from LOTR).

So I feel like I did exactly what the shirt's joke was trying to do.

No, I got that! :D  I don't get the joke on the shirt.

Shecky:
Elvish script like on the One Ring. Few people were able to figure out the trick of making the script visible, much less able to read it then. The one person you KNEW would be able to read it was Sauron.
