We got a bunch of snow (for this area) two weekends ago and these are some of the things I captured with a Canon Rebel XTi  digital SLR

Thank you.  Macro function on the telephoto lens is fun.  The icicle dripped from part of the siding to my mailbox on the porch.  So it was maybe 1/2 inch to an inch long and a 1/4 inch thick.

I especially like the icicle picture!  It has a cavern quality to the structure of the ice that makes it seem otherworldly.  Especially with no reference to scale.

Keep up with the good works everyone!

And, Seph, I would love a print!

You really should.  It's a lot of fun and if you don't mind just looking at buildings (not in) and eavesdropping on the people in colonial dress giving talks then you can do it for FREE.  There are several buildings/shops you can go in without the patriot pass, but you do need it to see things like the Capitol Building and Governor's Mansion.

Weather wise the best time to do it is April/early May as long as you don't mind dodging elementary school groups there on field trips. The end of the season is Sept/Oct which is another good time to come because both those periods aren't stifling hot.

Fox Henge
An edible work of sculptural art, mostly made of Marzipan, although the pond is sugar (melted and retextured to be like a pondish sugar cube.)

I could so eat that!  After an appropriate amount of admiration of course!  :D

Awesome pics everyone!
